it was truly a fun day, although most of us are semi-unconscious by the end of it, but i still want to thank all that went and spent that day wif me coz its my bday (15th nov of the chinese calendar). =p oh, and also thanks mel for the chocs, they're really nice
met ty and ym in the afternoon at ntuc to buy some ingredients for the sushi-making session. bought crabstick, unagi, tuna and seaweed. wanted to buy cucumber also de, but we walked ard the veggi/fruit section twice le and still no sight of it, prob sold out le bah.
after 'depositing' ym and ty at der's place, i went back to get some things and apparently missed out some jokes. anyway, ty was in charge of cutting the seaweed to size, der moulding the rice, me wrapping the seaweed ard the rice and ym putting on the ingredients. bcoz the rice was quite sticky, der was putting his fingers into his mouth quite often, and ym saw him doing sth to the mayo crabstick. so the 3 of us din touch the crabstick sushi... (yup, that's wat we were whispering secretively in case any1 at gathering is wondering). overall it was quite a success la, i forgot if anyone took pics but i din. heeheee... but the rice can do with some more vinegar.
next we wrapped watever presents that were not wrapped, and bcoz we were using the same 2 pieces of wrapping paper, half of the gifts looked similar. btw, der forgot to peel off the price tag and ym who did part of its wrapping got that gift. we were laughing when we exchanged gifts, esp when der actually did express that he hoped ym will get the gift.
oh, we had some of der's mum's curry. ym gave der all her chicken, i passed a piece too... that was probably why der was so full that nite, that and all the rejected sushi... hahha... the rest of the guys: mel, kg and kw (kg's fren from b4) arrived with the 3kg-turned-into-1kg turkey(i have no idea watsoever as to why the turkey slimmed off...) when we were done playing wif der's mum's hamster (coz she's the one taking care of it, der's only playing/abusing it) it was very fat~! hahaha... almost round in shape le. me and ty got bitten by the hamster... it had toothpicks for teeth lo, so sharp...
then we played a number of games la, some of which der's bro joined us. played uno, taboo (which proves my vocab is super lousy), dai di (i had a very good hand once: a flush and a di house, but i separated them and lost TT_TT) , murderer aka polar bear (where i was always accused of being the murderer... =( when ym beside me was always the true killer!), den risk. risk was quite brain juice draining, with all the rules and the dice throwing. the first round we (me and mel paired up) got quite good lands but end up fighting with kw for austraila. second round was disaster at first, we've lands all over the 6 continents and was under attack until we were left with japan. but somehow my dice throwing luck kicked in after i was semi-conscious and we fought all the way to austraila!!! and den the game endecd unexpectedly when kg realized he completed his 4th mission...
inbtwn the police came bcoz they received complaints that we're too loud, but it seems that we're juz caught up in the fight btwn the neighbours 2 floors down. they prob tot it was the other who was making the sound and made the complaint. *rolled my eyes*
we took a 5 min walk to my hse to borrow the dvds. der wanted to stay here to watch actually, and leave ym and kg in his hse. but my aunt's too light a sleeper le, she even complaints of her fan being too loud loh, if we watch movie here, she sure wake up de... anyway, we went back and watched jian gui 10. erm... the movie's ok la, but i was suddenly hungry midway and trapped on the sofa... heehee... by the time the movie ended i was pass the feeling of hunger le, and we dismissed w/o breakfast since der was alr concussed on the floor, ym was sleeping in the room, ty was resting on the sofa, me cant keep my eyes open....

felt kinda lightheaded after that day, prob due to lack of sleep+food... yah, that's why this entry was late for so many days, that and the length of coz =) heehee
